Community & referral partners
Better connections between the services that already exist
BFF is built around community referral relationships, not only public self-referrals. We work across disability services, healthcare, mental health, shelters, family-support organizations and culturally specific communities.

Our network
Current and project referral relationships
- SALDAC
- Ruth’s House Calgary
- Alpha House Society
- Vision Support Services Inc.
- CareTrackAI / Solace Abode Care
- Galena Wellness Ltd.
Communities these relationships connect us with
These relationships let us support referrals for newcomers, families affected by violence, people experiencing homelessness, adults with developmental disabilities, families using disability supports, and people with health or mental-health needs.
How referrals work
Closed-loop, with consent
When a partner refers someone to BFF, or we refer someone on, the aim is the same: the person actually connects, and someone notices if they don’t.
- Need identified
- Appropriate service identified
- Referral and contact information provided
- You are supported to connect
- Barriers identified if the connection fails
- Alternative pathway identified where possible
- Outcome followed up, with your consent
How BFF and Galena Wellness work together
Biofeedback Foundation and Galena Wellness Ltd. are separate organizations that collaborate to improve access to health, mental-health, disability and community supports.
BFF is the not-for-profit navigation, education and community-support organization. Galena Wellness is the clinical health and mental-health organization.
Where someone requires a service outside BFF’s scope, BFF may help connect them with Galena or another appropriate community or regulated provider.
Partner with BFF
Let’s connect the services that already exist
If your organization works with individuals and families who could use navigation support, or you’d like a plain-language workshop for your community, we’d like to hear from you.
Tell us what is happening. We will help you understand the pathway.
You do not need to know which program or service you need before contacting us. Tell us what is happening, and we will help you understand the next step.
